Brawl is a game mode in Predecessor. It was introduced in V0.18.

During the draft phase, there is no draft order like in the normal mode. Instead, all 10 players pick their heroes at once. Players can't see the enemy picks.

Each team starts with 400 tickets. To win, your enemy team must reach 0. Killing minions or causing your own minions to reach the enemy Portal causes the enemy to lose 1 ticket per each minion. Killing enemy Heroes causes the enemy team to lose 5. After killing 5 enemy Heroes, an allied Fangtooth will spawn that will push the lane and attack enemies with his cone attack. If he enters the enemy Portal, enemies lose 15 tickets.

At the 10th minute of the match, Orb Prime spawns in the center of the map, Knocking Back everyone around him. Whichever Team gets the last hit on Orb Prime gets the Orb Prime buff, and the enemies lose 50 tickets.

All heroes start the game with Icon Gold.png 1400 and level 3.

Map

The map is much smaller than in normal mode, it has a single lane where the minions clash and fight each other, and at each end of the lane there is a Portal. Near the center, to the sides you can find Explosive Flowers and new Healthpacks, that once picked up by a Hero restore 20% maximum Health and Mana to them and nearby Allied Heroes. Healthpacks respawn every minute.

Left and right sides of the map have a small jungle which contains River Buffs in the center axis and new Purple and Orange Buffs. Purple buff increases Hero size, Health and Tenacity. Orange buff increases Damage and Jump Height.

Game Mechanic changes

  • Every hero gets Icon Gold.png 15 and 4 XP per second. Minion, Experience, Gold and Monster values are also different. For more detailed economy changes see Experience, Gold and Minions.
  • Crests passively generate progress every second.
  • Blink cooldown is reduced to 120s.
  • All Ultimate cooldowns are reduced by 20%.

Minions

In Brawl, there are no Super Minions, and the Minion values are different. Minion waves are always 6, including 3 melee minions, 2 ranged and 1 siege minion. Minions spawn at 0:30 minute mark and continue to spawn every 30 seconds.

Nearby allies get 100% of the Minion Icon Gold.png Gold value after you last hit them. If a Minion has been killed through other means, nearby allies only get 45% of the Icon Gold.png Gold value.

One hero gets 82% of the experience. Two heroes get 79%, three get 76%, four get 73% and five get 70% experience each.
