Mechanics in Predecessor are the details, particulars, and mechanisms by which a player interacts with the game. This includes the objectives, controls, timing, map, and priorities to consider while playing in order to achieve victory.
Overview
The overall objective of Predecessor, is to destroy the enemy team's Core. This is done over the course of the game, where two teams battle across three lanes, that players can get to quickly using Jump Pads Each lane contains two Towers and an Inhibitor that a team will need to destroy to ultimately destroy the Core.
Teams battle AI controlled Minions, that release Experience and Gold when killed. Experience is used to level up, while gold is used to buy items.
