Phase is a playable character in Predecessor. She is from Axion Prime.
Lore
Growing up amid the neon glow and grime of Vexis on Axion Prime, Phase learned early on how to navigate both privilege and poverty. Empathic and cautious, she formed an unlikely friendship with the cocky, impulsive orphan, Skylar, who showed her the truth of the city she called home. Their bond was cemented when one day, a runaway transport unit hurtled towards Skylar, and, in a moment of pure panic, Phase manifested her powers for the first time, using an unknown telekinetic force to launch Skylar into the air, narrowly avoiding catastrophe.
Now, Phase uses her psionic abilities to tap into the very rhythm of the world around her. Through her headphones, she attunes to the essence of the people she connects with, crafting bonds from each tone, note, and beat. Every person she tunes into has a unique harmonic signature: a "song" that only she can hear. By synchronising herself to an individual's track, she's able to guide, protect, or amplify them as she sees fit.
For Phase, the chaotic energy of Axion Prime isn't a problem to be solved; it's a symphony to dance to. She nurtures and strengthens the bonds between people, using their music to find harmony where others only see discord. In a world that shatters most connections, she stands as a conductor of souls, her unique melodies a beacon of hope and a display of what's possible when broken hearts beat in unity.

Abilities
Additionally, Phase's Blink costs 50 mana but has a reduced Cooldown of 60s. Upon use, it increases her damage dealt by 15% for 3s.
The Link will break if her Ally goes out of range. Allies that are Immobilized cannot be Pulled.
- Casting Link does not activate Essence Catalyst. Casting Pull does.
- Link is broken when either Phase or the linked Ally starts Recalling.
- Link can be cast even when the Pull is on cooldown.
- Brawl Only: Multiple Phase players linking to the same person stacks the increased power effect of Telekinetic Link.
Damaging an Enemy Hero with Psychic Flare reduces Phase's Blink Cooldown to 1s.
Upon reaching 8 stacks the target is Rooted for 1.1s and the next instance of damage will deal 35/60/85/110/135 (+35%
- Casting Energy Lance causes Phase to levitate in midair, allowing her to float through gaps and into normally unreachable areas.
- Energy Lance does not penetrate
Dekker's Containment Fence, however it penetrates
Zarus' Coliseum. - Can be recasted to end early.
- Each Lance damage instance counts separately, which allows Phase to stack items like
Ruthless Broadsword quickly. - Brawl Only: Stacks applied by one Phase player can be used to apply a root as another player. (ie: One player applies 6 stacks, but does not root, another applies 2 stacks and roots)
- If Phase casts Link on a different Ally, the previous ally will lose the benefits of Hyperflux and the new ally will get them.
- Brawl Only: Multiple applications of this ability to the same hero stack.
