Revenant

Revenant is a playable character in Predecessor. He is from Equinox but can briefly transport to Ashkarath at will.

Lore

Darius Thorn was once regarded as a vigilante of renown, celebrated for bringing fugitives to justice across the sun-scorched wastes of Everburn. His life was simple. That was, until his world shattered when his wife, Elara, fell to the gunfire of one of his targets. Desperate and broken, he was offered a pact by Akeron, The Demon King of Ashkarath: souls in exchange for one precious life.

Accepting the demon's deal, Darius sacrificed his humanity to become Revenant, cursed with the power to rend reality and drag his quarry into Ashkarath’s hellish expanse. There, in Akeron’s crimson domain, he hunts his targets, ensuring they are promptly delivered straight to the Demon King’s maw. Each soul he consigns feeds Akeron’s dominion and might, inching Revenant ever closer to the steep price of his wife’s resurrection.

Now, Revenant wanders between worlds: a man haunted by his own choices, wielding hellfire against those he once considered simple criminals. He clings to the hope that, once his debt is finally paid, Elara’s spirit will return to him. Until then, Revenant’s shadow falls wherever his next quarry flees, and every step echoes with the promise of payment to a power that knows no mercy.

Revenant's Physical Power is increased by 3/3.5/4/4.5/5/5.5/6/6.5/7/7.5/8/8.5/9/9.5/10/10.5/11/11.5% (+1% per 10% Critical Strike Chance)(+2% per 10% Bonus Attack Speed).
Killing an Enemy Hero grants 25 (+25 per bounty stack) additional gold.
  • Basic Attack Time decreases every level up to 0.9225 on level 18.
  • Physical Power is increased by +10% at lvl 18 with 100% critical strike chance.

  • Deals max 200/225/250/275/300/325 (based on Hellfire Rounds level) damage to Non-Heroes.
  • Deals bonus damage equal to 11.3% of target's missing health damage at level 18.

  • This ability has 6 levels, and you innately gain the first level of this ability when you start the match.
  • The ability is best used right after your 4th shot, as you will reload faster than when you let it reload automatically.

Enemy Heroes take 9% damage from missiles beyond the first.

  • Scales with Total Physical Power (Base + Bonus).
  • The ability has 1550 range.
  • The ability can be cast while reloading, and does not cause the reload to be interrupted.

Upon consuming all stacks, the Target is Rooted for 1.1/1.15/1.2/1.25/1.3s.

Revenant pulls himself and his Target into the Nether Realm for 6/7/8s and Slows them by 80% for 0.7s.
Killing his opponent inside the Nether Realm will double the bonus gold gained from Bounty Hunter.

  • The ability can be cast while reloading, however the reload will be reset once cast.
  • Five Revenants using Reckoning at the same time versus different targets will teleport to the same Nether Realm, allowing up to 10 people to be in the realm in the Brawl mode, or 2 Revenants and 4 people in the Nether Realm in Standard mode.
  • Both Revenant and the enemy can use Gateways while in the Nether Realm.
  • The ability deals 1 damage, allowing it to apply item effects like Vanquisher.
    • Killing an enemy this way does *not* provide the increased bounty value.
  • The increased bounty values per enemy Kill Streak are:
