Howitzer is a playable character in Predecessor. He is from Equinox.
Lore
Howitzer was never meant to survive. Reared in secret by some "Scrapland Thinker" as a disposable bio-weapon prototype, he was tested, tortured, and then tossed into the trash when the whole experiment went sideways.
He wasn't supposed to survive, but he did anyway.
Wounded, furious, and finally free, he vanished into the wild wastes of Everburn. There with a mad grin, he cobbled together his own battle rig from pure junk, fragmented memories, and enough stolen firepower to start a small war.
The suit isn't just his weapon; it's his own personal party in the sky: a rattling arsenal built to make sure that no one ever puts him in a cage again. It keeps him loud and dangerous, and it also helps to keep the boring bits of sanity at bay. Somewhere out there, his old creator still thinks he's buried in a ditch, and a tiny part of Howitzer wants to pay them a very loud visit.
But to Howitzer, freedom is already victory. So for now, he blasts through the scraplands, rockets strapped to his back, a wild target on his chest, and an utterly unhinged smirk that made him a monster worth remembering.

Abilities
- Basic attack has 20% cleave.
- You can aim a few seconds with this ability before firing.
- While aiming you are not affected by gravity which means you can use it to stay in the air longer.
- While aiming your land mine will not displaced you so you can use to stay in place while bumping away an enemy.
- It is a channeling ability that can be canceled by hard crowd control.
