Boris is a playable character in Predecessor. He is originally from Sylmara but now resides in Aresium.
Lore
Once a guardian spirit of the wild, Boris embodied the raw force of the land with an ancient and immense strength.
It is said that the primordial was the first to protect Sylmara when the original rift to Ashkarath tore open milennia ago. In a feat of extraordinary power, Boris unleashed his full, untamed might, grappling with with the tear in reality itself and channelling the very essence of the land to seal the gateway shut. In the aftermath, he raised a mighty shrine, imbuing it with a fraction of his spirit, ensuring that future warriors who proved their worth could draw upon his power.
His end came not by enemy design, but as collateral in a clash between two powerful warriors: a teacher seeking to temper pride and a student who was driven by it. Caught in their battle, Boris suffered grave injuries that forced him to flee, realm-walking in a primal fear to a war-torn planet where he finally succumbed to his wounds.
It was there his broken body was found by Kallari on a reconnaissance mission. His remains were recovered by her handlers who reforged him in chrome and circuitry, binding godhood to steel. Now reborn as B.O.R.I.S., he walks again: not as a protector, but as a hidden weapon, driven by fragments of memory and a deep, burning blame he cannot quite name.

After the duration, Boris roars, exploding the Barrier and dealing 80/100/120/140/160(+50%
Enemies hit are Feared for 0.5-1s, based on Barrier duration.
Boris may manually detonate the Barrier after 0.5s.

- Feared Targets lose control and run away from Boris in the opposite direction for the duration of the effect.
Boris then leaps into the air with the grabbed Hero and slams them to the ground.
